5 easy and quick breakfasts that will make you excited to wake up in the morning!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! It gives your body fuel and nourishment to keep going, boosts your metabolism, and keeps you satisfied until lunch. Here are a list of healthy, quick and easy breakfast ideas which make you excited to wake up in the morning! All of these ideas are perfect for people who struggle for time in the morning and are looking for a cheat way to get a great breakfast!

  1. Overnight oats

This is a delicious and easy way to start the day- you can prep your overnight oats the night before so you aren’t rushing in the morning. All you need is a jar!

Ingredients: Oats, milk (or a milk based alternative), something sweet: brown sugar, honey etc, fruit: bananas, berries, apple. Try adding cinnamon or protein powder for some extra flavour.

2. Granola and yoghurt.

Again, I tend to make this the night before and store it in a jar in the fridge. Just layer up yoghurt, granola and berries or banana in a jar and you have a delicious breakfast!

3. Scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast.

Okay, so I don’t have time for this during the week, but I had to add it to the list as it is my favourite weekend breakfast! I love to make really buttery scrambled eggs with lots of salt and pepper- add some smoked salmon for an extra treat!

4. Porridge.

This is my favourite breakfast in the winter months as it warms you up and only takes minutes to make! I use a sachet of porridge to save time, add milk, and microwave. I then add a scoop of protein powder, banana and berries. It tastes so creamy and delicious!

5. Banana on toast.

This is a lovely and quick breakfast! Just toast some wholemeal bread, and whilst you’re waiting, mush up a banana. Spread this on your toast for a sweet and warming breakfast! -Add some peanut butter or raspberries for extra taste.
